We live in an information dense society, and with the latest and greatest 'miracle health fix' always just around the corner, it’s not easy to know what is right for you. How do you figure out exactly which of the many supplements, superfoods, and diets out there is right for your body? Perhaps you have experimented with some of the limitless options but haven’t experienced the results you were after. 

I promise you, it’s not as hard as it seems. Health can be an easy, enjoyable journey, free from confusion and stress.

My name is Rhianna and I am a self-professed health nut. Natural health and wellness is my life, it is my passion, and I am here to share it with you.

Educating and guiding people towards healthier, happier lives is what I do best. I have both a Bachelor of Nutritional Medicine and a Bachelor of Naturopathy, graduating in 2009 and 2010 respectively. While studying I worked in an awesome health food store and spoke daily to people trying to make healthier choices, but struggling to do so. With a big wide world of health products, celebrity health gurus, and regular scientific discoveries, it is no wonder so many people have difficulty navigating their way towards health. So from a deep desire to make health more attainable, I created Health and Simplicity.

Over the past 5 years I have been working one-on-one with people, consulting, writing blogs, and creating delicious healthy recipes. And when I say delicious healthy recipes, I mean it! I am definitely a creative, healthy foodie; if it’s not delicious, I won’t eat it. So don’t worry, I won’t prescribe you boring, tasteless rabbit food!

In Health and Simplicity, I have created a space where you come to understand your own health, where changes in diet and lifestyle can be embraced and enjoyed, and naturopathic medicines are taken for a distinct purpose. Instead of just giving you a list of supplements and telling you to ‘go gluten free’ I take you by the hand and educate you so you know exactly how and why your unique program will help, and what you need to do to make your life-long health happen! I am a firm believer in the famous quote by Hippocrates which states " Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food".

But true health is not about being perfect, it is about making educated choices. Have that cronut (it’s the deep-fried love-child of a doughnut and a croissant- you gotta try it!), but understand exactly what it is doing in your body, and make the educated decision how often to indulge.

For those who want to know a little more about me, I live with my partner Asa (who is also a naturopath- convenient!) and my staffy Rex, in beautiful Burleigh Heads. Apart from all things health related, I have a major love for random day trips, reading, traveling, good food and getting out in nature.
